I always knew I wanted to be a hairstylist since I was a little girl. Hair is in my blood. There’s nothing more rewarding than making my clients look good and feel better about themselves. I attended The cosmetology program in my junior year of high school at Bethlehem Area Vo tech School. I graduated In 2006, passed my state boards, and received my license that summer. I started working at JC Penney Salon (after a full year of college) in 2007. After 7 years at JCP, I left and worked at a private salon, Salon LoRe.

I became an Education Expert for Sexy Hair in 2012. I travel around the surrounding states teaching cutting and upstyling classes to other hair stylists. This last December, I was chosen to be a stylist for the Miss World 2016 Pageant with Sexy Hair. What an amazing experience to style the contestant’s hair!

When I was pregnant with my second son, I decided I was ready to open my own salon. My dream was to open a salon in our home so I could continue to work, but be a stay at home wife and mom. In October 2015, Salon Deevine was officially open!

I joined Alicia Nycole this past summer. I love upstyling brides. Making sure the bride and her bridal party look and feel amazing on that special day is an important task and my number one priority. It’s truly an honor to be a part of her special day and help achieve her “fairytale” look.

I credit my cosmetology teacher, Mrs. Vicky Haines for always believing in me. She taught me to work hard, to keep educating myself, and to never give up. Her encouragement has always been a driving force and I want to continue to make her proud.

The saying, “If you love your job, you’ll never have to work a day in your life” rings true! I love being a hairstylist!
